Building Surveyor (x2), Northern Irish Contractor, Permanent, East Belfast, £30,000 - £40,000.

Your new company
Our client is an award-winning Northern Irish contractor who are delivering projects across the Commercial, Education, Retail, and Residential sectors throughout Northern Ireland and the U.K. They have become a well-established and highly reputable company who continue to enjoy year on year growth and project wins across private and public-sector clients. They are currently looking to add two experienced Building Surveyors to the team based in their head office in East Belfast.

Your new role
Reporting into the Contracts Manager, the main function of your role will be to prepare surveys for social housing refurbishment projects across Northern Ireland.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Carry out measured building surveys
* Prepare photographic/condition schedules
* Prepare cost schedules
* Prepare works task orders
* Prepare works programming
* Prepare building regulation notes
* Prepare basic AutoCAD drawings
* Liaise with all stakeholders
* Agree final works orders with the client
* Deliver the principles of quality and health and safety
* Monitor the works when they progress to site to ensure they are being delivered in line with the agreed surveys and works orders in terms of quality and programme
* Compile weekly progress reports to their line manager

What you'll need to succeed
You must have the following qualifications or equivalent:

* Third level qualification in Building Surveying
* Possess 2 years' experience within the industry
* Ability to demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and professionalism
* Hold a full UK driving license
* Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

You will also demonstrate the following:

What you'll get in return
**Benefits** Basic salary £30,000 - £40,000; Company van; 5% pension; Healthcare; 30 days holiday; Working hours are 07.30 - 16.30 Monday - Thursday & 07.30 - 15.30 on Fridays.
