Position
Planning Engineer
Qualification
Degree Educated in relevant field
Experience
5-7 years in Planning and Primavera Work Programme for the Sewage Treatment plant, Sewerage Network and Sewage Pumping Station Projects.
Responsibilities
• Guide the Contractor to carry out works as per the Contract Specifications and Drawings.
• Review of Construction drawings.
• Coordination between Electrical, Mechanical, Process and Civil disciplines.
• Review of cost and time claims.
• DCS, PLC and SCADA engineering and commissioning.
• Ensuring the Operational and Control narratives are incorporated in the DCS system.
• Review of training materials for various levels (Manager, Engineer and Technician) of training to be imparted to Client staff.
• Review of the CMMS and GIS engineering documents.
• Review of Maintenance schedules for all field instruments, PLC, DCS, SCADA and communication accessories.
Capabilities Required
• Shall be well versed with the international standards applicable in Wastewater and Water industry.
• Shall possess knowledge of Foundation fieldbus, Profibus and Modbus communication protocol.
• Shall be able to select appropriate instrument for the application.
• Shall be able to advise on the installation methods of various instruments, panels, cable trays, supports, tubing etc.
