Project Planning Manager

Our Client, a major International Contractor seeks a Planning Manager for his UAE Sports Complex Project (Value in excess of 1 Billion AED.)

This professional will plot the complete process on site, reporting to the Project Director. He will be responsible for the overall delivery of the project. The project will involve complex services and finishings with much of the work being carried out by Subcontractors. Great emphasis will be placed on planning, coordination and teamwork to ensure the Client achieves his opening date.
He will have prior experience in building complex buildings and will be able to bring that experience to bear in interrogating the designs and methods proposed so as to help overcome gaps and clashes in the process. Whilst Time will be his main responsibility he will be
expected to contribute to the discussions on methods, co-ordination, design, packaging, procurement, value engineering and cost.

He will have had a minimum of 10 years as a Project Planner for a Contractor and be able to contribute at strategy level as well as drilling down into the detailed programmes.
UAE experience would be an advantage but a senior role on big complex buildings is a Must!
