Principal Civil Engineer

Location: UK, Port Talbot
Salary: 25-40 GBP

The main duties of the Principal Civil Engineer include, but are not limited to:
Co-ordinate project work with multi-disciplinary teams
Design Management of projects or bids
Develop innovative technical solutions
Undertake Technical Reviews of relevant projects
Act as a mentor to less experienced team members
Act as a leader in the promotion of, and compliance with, quality, safety and environmental systems
Play a key role in the development, promotion and implementation of company technical strategies
Interface with Clients on project technical, commercial and progress matters
Project reviews incorporating project financial, risk, technical and resource matters
Line management responsibility for assigned staff
Ensure capture of key project knowledge


Essential Experience

Extensive experience in the technical delivery of large multi-disciplinary projects in the water sector
Desirable
Design and Build experience



Background Information

This position reports to the Water Team Leader and the primary focus is the delivery of technical solutions to clients.



Essential Qualifications

Relevant first degree
Member of relevant professional body (MICE)

MCIWEM
