Permanent Way Design Engineer

You will be responsible for:

· Enhancing the P-Way team capability by supporting the team providing S&C and plain line alignment design skills and by helping to grow the capability of the P-Way discipline team.
· Supporting P-Way design input to multi-disciplinary projects, drawing up developed options, outline designs and detailed designs for work on heavy and light rail projects as well as metro and underground systems.
· Supporting designers within the existing team and be prepared to be trained and mentored to develop the individual skills and expand the P-Way capability within the office and the company as a whole.

The successful candidate must be interested in developing a career in a design environment. You will be expected to support the carrying-out of P-Way design, by working within and supporting a team by using CAD (Microstation or AutoCAD), MX Rail and InRail software.
