Traffic Engineer/Planner
Oman
Salary: 6000GBP per month
Description:
This local consultancy with an office in Muscat provides technical engineering services in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, master planning and traffic and transportation. They currently have plans to expand their Transportation and Highways Department by appointing a Traffic Engineer.
You must have extensive in Traffic Engineering. You will be based in Oman working on multiple projects. As a Senior Traffic Engineer you will be involved in a range of design and planning projects.
Qualifications
You must be Degree Qualified in Civil Engineer, and ideally hold a MSc in Transportation
Minimum of ten years experience is essential and having Middle East experience is an advantage.
Skills:
Having held a position in the Traffic department of a reputable design consultancy for a number of years.
Have extensive experience in Traffic Engineering including International Traffic Manuals and Codes (ASSHTO), Traffic Impact Studies and similar report.
Be well versed in the use of traffic engineering software packages
A team player with a professional attitude and the ability to deliver work under tight time scales.
