Senior Bridge Engineer

Location: UK-Yorkshire North

A leading international consultancy seeks a talented engineer to work for one of its bridge design teams within an established Rail business. The role involves being
responsible for managing a small team of up to 5 individuals, for delivering up to 10 projects concurrently to time and to budget, for daily management of projects, for design and Design Management from inception to completion and for the supervision and management of more junior team members. Circa 75% of time will be spent on Design and will include planning and undertaking survey works on site.

Successful applicants should be able to: Work without supervision; Lead a team of engineers; Produce neat clear calculations in a structured format and translate designs into engineering drawings, schedules and current specification.

You will be Degree Qualified & be approaching or have already achieved chartered status. You must have extensive engineering experience, ideally within a rail design environment. In return you can expect a challenging workload and excellent career progression and benefits.
