Mechanical Engineer Building Services - BEDFORD

Part of the Eastern Region M&E team, you will be based in my clients office in Bedford office delivering projects mainly for the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire County Councils as well as for other local authorities and clients. You’ll be involved at every stage, from carrying out inspections and developing designs and specifications to overseeing the delivery of work. In addition, you’ll advise clients, project managers and architects on compliance and industry best practice

You will possess excellent technical skills in mechanical (H&V) building services and should have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously and will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to understand and express technical concepts clearly and accurately.

With, or working towards, chartered status, you’ll have a complete understanding of design practices, contracts and project-management processes in connection with mechanical building services.
