Escalonador/Controlador de Custos

My client has been established in Oman for over 40 years, with a client base of both Government dept & private developers. They are currently going through a massive expansion programme and have identified the need to strengthen their Planning Department with an expatriate Senior Planning Manager.

You will be responsible for all planning aspects of a major construction project in Oman, assisted by junior planning staff. You may also be required to assist with planning management on other projects. You will be predominately site based.

You will have:
 A minimum 10-yrs experience in a main contractors, post contract, planning role
 Demonstrable practical building experience, ability to offer advice on Value Engineering, Buildability, New and innovative techniques etc.
 Major Projects experience, specifically residential projects (Housing / Apartments / Hotels) construction and associated infrastructure works.
 Detailed knowledge of Primavera P3 v3.1 is a minimum requirement.
 Extensive experience in the preparation and monitoring of Master and detailed construction programmes,
 Experience of managing the workload of junior planning staff
 Extensive experience of Pre-construction planning (Pre-qualifications, Tenders, Presentations etc) often working to tight deadlines.
 A clear understanding of building forms of contract and experience in the preparation of entitlement submissions
 Experience of developing and monitoring Design and Procurement programmes.
 Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Excel.
Overseas experience preferable, but not essential
Renumeration:
 2 year renewable employment contract
 Basic salary: Commensurate with experience
