Civil Engineer required for Interface Station in South Africa. Based in Johannesburg you will be responsible for assisting the Civil Engineering Manager as follows;

 Review of civil related design and integration of Electrical & Maintenance requirements in the design.
 Liaison with design and construction partners on site inspection.
 Propose technical solutions as required.

This important role includes liaison with civil partners throughout the project cycle including support to design reviews especially during Civils Installation, liaison with other groups involved in design, production, procurement, test, operations, training, maintenance and technical publications as well as liaison with the project office to facilitate system implementation.

In addition, you will analyse requirements and clients specifications to establish E&M functionality in regard of their integration in Civil Works and participate in the installation and commissioning of systems.

To apply for this role, the following minimum criteria MUST be met;
 Matric. Engineering Degree
 At least 10 years practical experience in Transit/Railway Engineering
 Civil background in buildings, tunnel and Maintenance & Electrical
 Knowledge on concrete slab for track will be an added advantage
 Candidate must have these attributes: Customer and Results Oriented, Teamwork, Innovation, Analytical Thinking, Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
 Planning and Organising skills, attention to detail, report writing
 Computer literate
