OBJECTIVES:

To develop and manage our client’s traffic and transportation business in the UAE which includes:

Traffic Impact Studies
Parking Studies
Modelling (micro and macro)
Public transportation (including water transport)
Accident analysis
Demand studies

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Development

Source traffic and transportation opportunities, initially in the UAE
Prepare technical submissions
Build traffic and transportation team
Liaise with existing and potential clients

Technical

Manage traffic and transportation projects, initially in the UAE.

Managerial

Develop and manage a traffic and transportation team

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Requirements

You need to be enthusiastic, energetic and highly professional. You must take the initiative and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will need to have a strong work ethic and understand the importance of this role to the success of the operation of the business.

Skills & Experience

10+ years experience in traffic and transportation consultancy
Knowledge of transport modelling (Saturn EMME2, VISSIM, VISSUM etc.)
Good report writing skills
Experience in the GCC essential, experience in the UAE desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and a results orientated focus;
PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Highest professional integrity
Flexibility in regard to work hours

Language

Ability to communicate in English (written and spoken) essential.
Ability to communicate in Arabic (written and spoken) desirable.
Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
