Senior Modeller

Salary: 25-30 GBP

Job description

You will lead a small team of graduates and technicians engaged in providing services to major water industry clients. You will provide technical support and advice to your team and to senior management as and when required. You will also have your own modelling workload which you will be expected to deliver to time and budget. You will report directly to a Principal Modeller. You will be an enthusiastic exponent of hydraulic modelling as a discipline within the sewerage team.

Essential Experience

Ideal candidate would need to have 3 years relevant sewerage experience Hands on experience of sewerage computer modelling in connection with drainage area planning and/or urban pollution management. Must have hands on experience of InfoWorks, HydroWorks or Mouse. MapInfo experience also desirable. Reporting results is an essential part of this work and a high level of competence in written English is required. Desirable - Proven ability in the verification of complex hydraulic models and the application of modelling techniques to the development of engineering solutions to sewerage catchment problems.



Essential Qualifications

Civil or Enviromental Engineering Degree. However, a degree in an other appropriate scientific or technical subject may be acceptable.



Desirable Qualifications

Chartered Engineer and Member of a relevant institution (eg: MICE, MCIWEM), or working towards Chartered status. High level of computer literacy.
