プロジェクト・マネージャー

Contracts Management role for a leading International Contractor for a leading interior fit-out project in Qatar. Having gained experience on major fit-out contracts you will be responsible to audit and assist in the contractual activities of the projects in the concerned business unit. An exciting opportunity for a senior level candidate who can demonstrate success gained in major fit-out contracts.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Building Economics or equivalent.
• Post-graduate degree in the like preferred
• Law degree would be an advantage

Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years post-graduate experience in Commercial
• Management or Contract Administration
• Thorough knowledge of international forms of construction contract conditions
• Experienced in Claims Management
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Fluency in English is essential

Duties & Responsibilites:

• Regularly visit and audit project offices to verify whether: - the contractual activities are carried out in the proper manner- outward correspondence is written appropriately to protect the business unit's interest and image
• Report any shortcomings to the Managing Director of Commerical/Group Contracts Advisor and discuss with them remedial action
• Convey to the business unit and projects the required remedial action and follow up to ensure their implementation
• Check the validity of the Contract Terms and Conditions prior to submitting of any tender and high light the effect of same
• Negotiate Contract terms with clients in light of the Company established criteria
