Our Client, a large International Consultancy, now has an opening for a Managing Consultant (Transport Planner) to join their Development and Regeneration Team. This team deals with transport assessments of new developments, urban renewal and regeneration projects, travel plans and all aspects of transport sustainability.
Your core duties will involve:
· Assisting the development of a team of transport planners.
· Assist in the business development and secure new clients and projects
· Work with the Master-planning and Urban Design group
· Provide traffic and transport expertise to the public and private sectors.
· Prepare sustainability packages for development and regeneration projects.
· Financial and technical management of projects.
Requirements
· Suitable experience in transport planning.
· An in depth knowledge of the UK transport planning market.
· Business and financial awareness.
· A proven track record in winning new work.
· A commitment to providing high quality solutions and advice to clients.
· Experience of ARCADY, PICADY and TRANSYT would be advantageous.
