Technical Design Manager:

New entry to the UAE market requires a Technical Design Manager to lead a team overseeing design issues on major iconic projects in Abu Dhabi.

The Design Manager will have the overall responsibility for the progress of the overall design development in accordance with the PM - Client Scope of Services.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

• Ensure a high quality service is delivered, throughout the Project, whilst maintaining minimum standards in accordance with the PM-Client scope of services.

• Evaluate and Report on Technical Tender Submittals.

• Advise the Construction Team on all matters pertaining to Programming, Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Working Drawings, Tender Documents, Tender Submittals and Evaluation.

• Monitor the executions, administrations and performance of the Design Development.

• You will be responsible for Workshops, Progress Meetings, Design Management meetings and will be required to establish the methodology for ensuring the production of complete and approved design, tender and contract documentation. These should be in compliance with the approved Master Schedule prepared by the Program Management Team.

• Demonstrates excellent communications and time management skills.

Qualification: BA in Architecture or Engineering Degree is required.

Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous but not essential.
