From humble beginnings in 1989, with just two members of staff and a contract for a four-storey building on Al Diyafah Street, our client has become one of Dubai’s foremost contractors with over 7,000 employees.
From 1989 to today, they have moved from an income of less than US $13.6 million (AED50 million) to over $272 million annually. They have expanded in various directions every year and have jumped up the scale of contractors every couple of years - Key projects include: Emirates Tower, Jumeriah Beach Residence, Sheraton Suites,
They currently have projects in hand worth $1.08 billion. They have a good cross section of projects including Retail, Commercial, High-rise, Hotels & Luxury Villas.
Role:
We require a number of quantity surveyors/commercial managers. Project Value up to £100m on a good selection of projects – residential, retail, high-rise & Hotels.
Responsibilities:
Enrolling overall project(s) Commercial and contractual issues. Review all payment certificates to be issued to the client, sub contractors, suppliers. • Setout Variation orders, claims, time extensions. Preparing all Contractual correspondences, preparing detailed financial and contractual project financial report. • Prepare the subcontract agreement, and price negotiation with the subcontractors/ suppliers, and resolve any contractual conflicts, disputes may result out of these subcontract agreements.
Qualifications & Experience Degree in Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying from a reputed University. Must have experience in handling large Commercial/ High Rise Residential projects, having minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in the Gulf region.
