Senior Consultant – Construction Claims – Abu Dhabi
The company is a growing and highly successful consultancy practice, specialising in the areas of dispute resolution, procurement management and training. They pride themselves in providing a high quality service to Blue Chip clients. Commissions typically involve commercial management, forensic analysis, procedures audits, litigation support and expert witness appointments.
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Consultant to join their growing team of professionals at their Abu Dhabi office. We are seeking either a quantity surveyor or engineer with claims and dispute resolution experience.
Reporting to Regional Manager in the Abu Dhabi office, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the range of work carried out in the UAE. This will include assisting the manager and others with procurement management advice, commercial management of major projects, expert work, preparation of and response to time and money claims.
The position offers the opportunity for advancement within the practice including the responsibility to manage others in connection with any commission for which the consultant is made responsible, and the opportunity to assist in business development activities.
The position also provides the opportunity to assist in the delivery of in-house training programmes to clients for those who find this work of interest. This opportunity would suit an enthusiastic and committed individual with a desire to learn and to develop the experience already gained in this field. Good analytical, written and oral communication skills are key skills required of this position.
Job Overview
