For one of the world’s leading MNC / Engineering consultancy having offices all over the UAE and Doha with a number of signature and iconic projects in the gulf region.

The HR Manager will be responsible for providing leadership in
helping establish and maintain Human Resources and HR best practices in the
UAE/Qatar offices

The main responsibilities will include the following:
Advise and counsel staff and management on the interpretation of policies and
procedures ; develop and maintain a high level of knowledge in all areas of HR,
both internally and externally; assess the HR implications of business initiatives
and provide counsel and support to staff and management; evaluate the
effectiveness of current HR programs, policies, systems; recommend and
develop alternatives or enhancements to create HR best practices; apply
knowledge of employment legislation and organization structures in support of
the business; develop, implement and effectively deliver and manage a variety of
HR programs including: on boarding, employment equity, reward and recognition,
employee training, compensation programs, employee relations, performance
management, organizational changes, conflict mediation and resolution; manage
job classification and evaluation through using defined compensation model.

Successful candidate should have 3 to 5 years experience in a senior HR
or HR Manager role; college or university degree
with a focus on HR Management. HR Certifications desirable.
Will have knowledge of leading HR best practices with experience in a
Fast paced mid-to large size organization. Experience in engineering or project
management companies and Middle East experience a definite asset.
