Job Description – Planner / Scheduler / Design Programmer
Role:
Require a strategic planner with expertise in planning, executing and spearheading projects involving multidisciplinary building engineering design consultancy activities, flair for adopting modern methodologies in compliance with quality standards.

Should be able to operate MS-Project, Primavera and MS-Excel for scheduling, monitoring the progress of work, making programme for claims for extension of time & variations, resource planning & monitoring activities, competently.
Excellent relationship management, analytical and negotiation skills with deftness in swiftly ramping up projects in co-ordination with clients, architects & consultants
Analyzing and planning of the design process with necessary tasks and techniques.
Integrating schedules developed in other software into master schedules may be required.
Incorporating field / departmental schedules in the Performance Measurement Baseline.
Facilitating schedule update and mandatory review meetings will be required.
Responsible for the development of scope, schedule, to complete data for assigned tasks under the direction of a lead project controller/manager.
Analysis of the scheduled progress and performance and identifies identifying the developing problem areas.
Assembly and compilation schedule and provide output to the project team.
Analysis of critical path and restraints to determine the effect of changes to the schedule.
Advise management of risks that may affect project, schedules and client relations.
Support a team of department managers in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems.
Take the lead in the development and maintenance of any periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) status reports to keep management/PMs/DMs informed on the project progress. These reports may include labor productivity, schedule status, and earned value curves reports on either direct or indirect consultancy activities that are a part of the work.
Experience:
Must have extensive proven experience in building schedules in Microsoft Project and Primavera.
Must have extensive knowledge of applicable project management software systems including Primavera and Microsoft Project.
Ability to effectively lead the scheduling effort with minimum supervision and direction.
Coordinate with Project Managers and department mangers to develop integrated critical path schedules, using Microsoft Project, for major building design projects.
