My Client was established in Qatar in 1976 as a Building and Civil Works Contractor they have a current staff & labour force dedicated to their works within Qatar of over 2000 people and due to continuing success are looking again to increase their work force.
They now require an appropriatelty degree educated design manager to be based in their head office in Qatar , as head of department. With overall responsibility for the management and success of the department, including customer relations, health and safety, quality programme and the cost/value of operations under his control.
The MEP Co-ordinator will be responsible for fulfilling the activities assigned to him in the appropriate process, including:
• Maintaining effective and long term relationships with the customer and his representatives/advisors.
• Implementing and maintaining GCC Strategy and Policies for Sustainability, Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, etc. and acting as an exemplar of the GCC culture and values.
• Ensure compliance with the Companies Business management System.
• Being proactive in the identification and resolution of problems.
• Reviewing methods of working, alternative materials etc in order to maximise commercial profitability and build ability.
• Managing, supporting, mentoring and counselling members of the Site teams in their personal development, within the field of expertise.
• Seeking and developing ongoing continuous improvement.
• Providing aftercare services to the customer.
• Maintaining and providing accurate reports to Senior Management
• Any other duties relevant to the role
They must poses:
Technical experience and knowledge.
Commercial and financial ability.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
