Managing Quantity Surveyor

Due to their success in securing work, and thus increasing the headcount, they are looking to recruit a Managing Quantity Surveyor.

You will be asked to
Lead a Team, and in doing this, you will carry out the following management tasks:
• Recruitment and retention of staff including selection, appraisal and identification for awards package.
• Team management including quality control, management of deadlines and resource planning.
• Generally contribute to the successful running of the Company by participating in activities such as preparation of material for internal and external publication and other one-off management duties.
Lead a Team, and in doing this, you will carry out the following management tasks:

You will already have
• a BSc in Quantity Surveying and/or be a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent.
• a demonstrable track record in managing a Team in the delivery of major projects.
• Posses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with the confidence, presence and ability to generate early respect for Clients and colleagues.
