An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a fast growing company in Muscat.
Responsibilities
Prepare structural design requirements for new projects in compliance with local and international codes and by-laws
Carry out structural analysis and accomplish design of new buildings (low and high rise), bridges and other structures
Review and approve structural drawings and plans prepared by contractors and/or consultants
Coordinate with Architect in developing structural concepts and plans
Structural design approvals for on-going projects
Key performance indicators
Ensure safety and economy of structural designs
Accuracy, speed and quality of work
Timely completion of job assignments

You must have a Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university plus:
15 years post qualification experience in related areas
Experience of structural designs of large multi-use developments or construction projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, and related soft-wares
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Preferred experience :
Awareness of contemporary developments in construction and property development industry in the Middle East Region.
Experienced in design of reinforced concrete, pre-cast concrete, pre-stressed concrete and steel buildings/structures
Membership of a recognized professional institute or association
