As an AV Design Engineer you will be responsible for making all technical design decisions to arrive at optimal design solutions. This position requires strong technical and Client facing skills as well as the ability to work with a team in a multi - disciplinary environment.
You will supervise, plan and participate in the design, development and implementation of AV systems. This design role involves assessing and defining clients’ requirements, identifying range of solutions, and designing systems to support broad range of applications on large scale building projects:
• Conference Rooms, Executive Offices and Boardrooms
• High-end Hotel facilities, Restaurants, Ballrooms
• Classrooms, Laboratories, Auditoriums, Lecture Halls.
• High-end residential facilities
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate:
• At least 8 years Audiovisual Technology experience of which a minimum 5 years relevant experience in designing, deploying and supporting audiovisual systems.
• Systems integration and AV related design knowledge of networking systems: LAN/WAN, Switches and Routing Protocols, Firewalls, VPN, Wireless Networks, and Security.
• Design experience of systems relative to the hospitality industry.
Applicants for this role must have a B.Sc. Degree in Audiovisual related sciences or possess extensive relevant technical / commercial experience and hold a current and relevant professional certification.
