Major U.S. Global Consulting Engineer requires a LEAD STRUCTURAL ENGINEER for its Chicago office. The work involves Dams and Hydroelectric Projects as wellas other large Hydraulic Structure, Canals, Locks etc.
Applicants need to have good experience in these areas totalling 15 years in all. A degree in Structural Engineering is essential, a Masters is desirable. Applicants will ideally be registered PE.
Applicants will assist Technical Staff in field activities including site and shop inspections, monitoring etc. They may serve as Lead Engineer, Project Engineer or Project Manager on smaller projects.
This is a permanent position and in the environmentally friendy area of Hydroenergy an increasingly busy one, prospects for advancement are very good and only limited by a persons skill and ambition. must be willing to travel worldwide.
Applicants with visa to work in the USA preferred but any one with the required skills will be considered.
