Health and Safety Manager

A huge opportunity with a leading international construction company has arisen. This opportunity is with one of the largest construction projects in the region. It is both career enhancing and challenging.

Duties involve ensuring the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental Plan. Verifying that all HSE requirements of the contract and the relevant Client's instructions are being followed.

Carrying out hazard evaluations, safety in construction projects.

Assisting with development of safety training programmes, with particular emphasis during construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of projects.

Liaising with site (before and during construction activities) for the implementation of the Health & Safety to ensure adherence to Company's established HSE procedures, guidelines, standards and codes of practice.

Conducting/participating in audits, attends risk assessment sessions, and participates/leads incidents/accidents investigations, participates in the training activities and safety awareness programs

Monitors and defines Health, Safety and Environmental problem areas and taking corrective actions in co-ordination with the Project Manager
