REGIONAL TENDERING MANAGER - Gulf

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
 Liaises with the Regional Manager in works related to tender estimation of civil, marine and electromechanical works contracts

 Liaises with the Electromechanical Works Tendering Manager in works related to tender estimation of multidiscipline works contracts

 Leads a group of engineers dealing with technical, commercial and contractual aspects of the tender

 Reviews tender documents, time schedules and bills of quantities

 Prepares estimates of required resources and costs and works out construction methodologies and subcontracting needs

 Communicates with clients as required and works for ensuring optimum tender price as well as effective post award hand over

Requirements:
 University degree in Civil Engineering

 Ten (10) years experience in construction management (heavy civil, marine, industrial) of which at least three (3) in a similar position

 Good knowledge of project execution methodology

 High sense of cost awareness

 Fluency in written and spoken English Language is essential

 Computer literate particularly in programs relevant to estimation

 Ability to travel extensively, to work under pressure and challenges outside regular work schedule

The ideal candidate would probably be aged up to 55, will hold a Civil Engineering degree with considerable experience (10+ years & marine works experience is a must), be a native UK citizen and have hands-on experience in Estimating/Tendering whilst holding at least for some time senior jobs in this capacity.
