Senior Quantity Surveyors/Contracts Manager

This consultancy is in an exciting period of growth and seeks to recruit high calibre, career-minded individuals to join them in their continued success. Their UAE-based team has a diverse and ever-expanding project portfolio. As a result of their success in winning new contracts from existing and new Clients they are looking to recruit Senior Contracts Managers to add measurable value to their current activities. The project they are currently recruiting for is an Island Development called Yas Island. The Island consists of Mixed use residential and commercial towers, Shopping Malls, Marines, Theme Parks and the F1 Track. Also a Ferrari Theme park and exhibition centre, which will be the first of its kind in the world. Complete project value stands currently at $31 Billion.
They seek 2 Senior Contracts Managers to be based in Abu Dhabi (The capital of the UAE). Managing multi million pound building contracts you will be working as part of a specialist team monitoring and reporting progress on site, interpreting contracts and dealing with contractual issues.
In addition we seek Senior Quantity Surveyors to work on a range of projects also in Abu Dhabi including healthcare, residential and commercial schemes.
Your key attributes will be first class interpersonal skills and a client-facing approach. The ability to work as part of a specialist team, combined with the self-motivation required to work with minimal supervision. Ideally RICS or equivalent qualified with previous experience of working overseas, preferably in the Middle East. You will have experience of working on building and property schemes such as high rise tower construction, offices, apartments, hotels, retail and leisure. Contractor or PQS background. Good knowledge of FIDIC contract.
