One of the world’s largest consultancies is looking for Senior Coastal Engineer for their Dubai office. The successful candidate will play a key role in Marine Division helping deliver high quality and varied engineering solutions and will be expected to manage a portfolio of projects from feasibility to implementation.
Responsibilities:
Undertake coastal engineering studies to support major infrastructure projects and strategic coastal studies
Working alongside Engineers and Environmental Scientists to progress all stages of the project from inception through to detailed design and implementation.
Responsible for the delivery of technically accurate and reliable studies within agreed programme and budget.
Skills:
Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with a proven track record desirable.
Knowledge and experience of coastal and estuarine work is essential.
Candidate would have ability to work on varied projects including strategic studies, outline and detailed design of various scheme types, monitoring and project implementation with knowledge of current best practice.
You will have good IT skills and experience of working within a design team, preferably with UK experience.
Be keen to develop themselves through good experience in a small but diverse team. At the same time ability to manage individual elements of work will be useful.
