My Client currently has a vacancy for a Senior Land Surveyor to join our team. The post involves assisting with the management of a major client’s Framework Surveying Contract encompassing Topographical Surveys, Underground Utility Surveys, Measured Building Surveys and 3D Laser Scanning.
The role includes (but is not limited to):
•Preparation of contractual orders, defining scope and technical content and cost estimating
•Liaising with contractors in the field, advising on technical issues
•Managing survey delivery and specifications, advising on technical matters
•Field checking, quality control and final validation of surveys
•Development of new survey techniques in conjunction with our contractors
•Development and implementation of new procedures
•Taking an active role in the future development of surveying within the Company
To be successful in this role you will need to be precise, dedicated, organised, self-motivated and a good communicator with strong field and office experience across a variety of survey activities.
You must be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of current survey techniques and equipment GPS experience is essential. You must have extensive experience of working with field coded survey processing systems and have extensive knowledge and experience of Digital Terrain Modelling.
