This group provides a portfolio of property and construction-related services across a wide range of market sectors. Their philosophy has been to build upon those areas of expertise that have made the company so successful, forming strategic relationships with other specialists and professionals for their clients. They are able to provide a full range of services, from pre-construction engineering and management consultants, to contracting, fit out and facilities management in which they work seamlessly in Joint Ventures with contractors and other specialist consultants.

The Country Manager is for a major international British based consultancy. They are looking for a degree qualified country manager, senior project manager or director who is an English speaker, with solid consultant background in China. It will be a mixed-use development and new build projects, all high-end work.

Their current situation in China is they have strategic partner they have used their relationship with to establish a small office to date. They have just instigated their WOFE application and established a lease on a small office Putuo district. They are currently are engaged as a PM role in Hang Zhuo on a processing plant, and have two mixed-use (retail and commercial) projects of approximately 1m sqft each. They are also engaged on several Technical Due Diligence roles in China. Previously they have been engaged in a PMO role with a major global technology brand on a major property consolidation exercise as part of their global service to this client.

They have mega project exposure in Macau also which the majority of suppliers and contractors are sourced from China. They are currently looking to expand in China and would expect to have significant revenue from mixed use projects, leisure, and industrial projects in China providing a consultant (PM) role within the next year.

They are looking for the right individual with good Mandarin/ English language (although English is enough), local experience and contacts to drive the growth of the China business, building on a brand and major project capability.

Remuneration would be in line with the seniority of the role and would
be competitive to attract the right individual.
