This is a senior management position. This requires management of other project managers, project teams, other consultants and clients. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of large/complex projects. The Senior Project Manager will have assigned teams for his/her projects and after consulting with all Department Heads, will assign the work and ensure that it is properly completed. The lead designer (Project Architect or Engineer) will make all design decisions but the Senior Project Manager will ensure that the design team do not design beyond the contract requirements. When another firm is engaged as a sub-consultant, it is the Senior Project Manager's responsibility to ensure that the lines of responsibility are clearly defined and that there is adequate coordination between offices. The Senior Project Manager must be capable and experienced, with authority to speak for the firm in dealing with the client and to direct and expedite the work. The Senior Project Manager will be assessed on the profitability targets of his/her projects in addition to client satisfaction and teamwork criteria. The Senior Project Manager may be assisted by Project Managers and/or Assistant Project Managers depending on workload. He/she may also be required to provide supervision and mentoring to Project Managers who will be independently managing small to medium size projects or projects of low complexity.

Minimum of fifteen (15) years experience in design and/or design management, including a minimum of 5 years experience in project design management.
A working knowledge of project management software is highly desired

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Management or Project Management.
