The Senior Resident Engineer will serve as the senior site representative responsible for all matters related to the construction, time, cost and quality of the project. This includes leading, directing and monitoring all personnel who are identified within their charge and the administration of the building contract works.


Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

• Monitoring the work of staff members ensuring compliance with contract provisions, including correspondence and submittals.

• Awareness and vigilance with regards to all aspects of construction activity in order to provide quality assurance and safety standards in line with contractual agreements.

• Reviewing contractor’s change order proposals and providing suitable recommendations to the Construction Manager.

• Attending regular meeting with contractors and government officials to review construction progress and identify constraints and opportunities for corrective measures.

• Conducting the final inspection of work and provide handover of completed facilities.


Qualification: BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Membership of a professional Engineering Institution would be advantageous.


Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
