Marine & Dredging Operations Manager

Our client, a specialised contractor wishes to expand their marine engineering 'arm' of the business and embark on large projects in marine construction and ports in Saudi Arabia.

Close to the border of Bahrain, commuting would be more than possible should applicants wish to reside in this Kingdom instead of Saudi and a vehicle would be provided.

The company has a long-term vision and ambitious plans for the future so it is a good time to join and stamp your mark on the aformentioned projects.

Applicants should have a broad knowledge in port construction and extensive experience including dredging, land reclamation, floating equipment and piling works as well as berths and quay walls.

You should be capable of writing construction methodologies for various marine projects as well as studying tenders and accordingly preparing bids. Preferably familiar with ISO 9000 or other quality management systems and you would have worked on projects to a minimum value of USD 50 Million USD.

A hands-on approach is preferred to a back-office engineer. This is a chance to earn a substantial package tax-free with the additional benefit of having the option to reside in the Kingdom of Bahrain or Saudi Arabia, whichever lifestyle would suit applicant circumstances the better.
