Construction Manager is required to join a leading international contractor for a project based in Abu Dhabi to manage and supervise works carried out on a Hotel fit-out whre you will be responsible from initial project preparation until the completion and handover.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the work at the project site and coordinate between subcontractors to ensure delivery of all project phases on time.
• Assist in preparing construction schedules and objectives, and monitor progress against established schedules
• Assist in preparing the required progress reports
• Manage the activities of subcontractors.
• Requisition for supplies of materials to complete works.
• Identify manpower and equipment needs required for completion of works.
• Develop and monitor the implementation of quality control programs.
• Review subcontractors and suppliers invoices and submit to the Project Manager for approval
• On-going evaluation of construction methods and continuous improvement implementation
• Review and monitor the project safety plans and security measures.
• Participate in the study of any modification suggested by the contractors and subcontractors to facilitate and expedite work, getting the approval where required
• Work with the Project Manager to ensure any spend outside of the approved budget is monitored and controlled
• Assist in preparing all progress reports related to the project execution
• Manage the work at the project site and coordinate between subcontractors to ensure execution of all project phases on time.
• Assist in preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established schedules
Skills & Experience:

• Relevant degree qualification within Construction Engineering
• 10 - 15 years experience
• Experience of managing diverse teams in line with complex strategic and financial targets
• Advanced proficiency in current technology across construction management and reporting
• Fluency in English is essential
